I logged in for the first time today to a completely new screen on android mobile and I do not like it at all. It takes up so much more of an already small screen. This new interface is awful compared to previous. This new setup will definitely make playing the game more difficult to enjoy. The map is now in the bottom right corner, it has literally always been in the upper right since I started playing this game about 15 years ago. Please let me know if there is anyway I can go back to the way it was. With the way it is now it's going to limit how I can enjoyably play the game on mobile which is mainly how I play, because of this I can guarantee I won't be playing as much.

I'm also in the same boat, where it is so distracting and inconvenient now that I have a hard time playing with the new interface. The new map is VERY inconvenient and makes for the game play to become frustrating. I get wanting to improve and keep things fresh but at least allow for the ability to go back to the old interface and you can see what people play with to better understand what we want -Quantum Insanity

Fully agree with everything you say, this has literally taken a step backwards, nothing scales correctly, all too large, map is in a stupid area, and there is no reason for the store to be on the main screen when it's only 1 extra click away.

i could live with the new icons and everything else but please fix this ui bug and please please please move the map back the top right corner or at least give us an option to move it and scale the ui ourselfs.

Also the samsung keyboard bug is still present, where it wont let me back space as it just starts removing random letters/numbers from anywhere within the sentance. if i make a spelling mistake i actually have to start again completely.

ive found when sitting in lobby the ui is all fine, settings is scaled fine, everything is, but moment i log in, the please wait in corner gets alot bigger then whole ui in game is bigger. im going from fitting most of the settings on the screen, to fitting 2 lines of settings on the screen.

If it helps i run this on a Samsung Galaxy Tablet S7 and Samsung Galaxy S21. (The Galaxy S7 Tablet has the ui scaling issues)

before this update i used to be able to go into treasure hunter on the tablet and it would change the scaling back to normal, until i relog. but now this little work around doesnt seem to work any more either, everything just overlaps each other giving a very cluttered untidy feel!

1. Please move the map back to the top right. Bottom right means it must be minimised in order to see all the action bar. I can see how some peeps might want to keep inventory open and whole action bar so maybe give us the option?
2. Remove the store button. Seriously, what does this have to do with game play? It was fine where it was under home
3. Bring back the battery icon. That was far too useful on a device that is on... a battery
4. Left hand icons down the side please, or, again, allow us to choose

The icons look nice but that layout is poor. The main runescape allows the UI to be customisable, why not the mobile? Even if it is not fully customisable, give us a couple of layouts to choose from, please. Then we can taylor to our individual playing styles.

I hate every thing they have done lately.
I want things out of my way not more in the way. The mini game/dxp icon is right in the middle.
It wasn't great but it was better before. I don't have a huge phone like some people so all those huge new home, chat and stupid task icons are in the way.
I never had much of a problem with it before but now I might even hate it.
I pretty much only use it for quick on and off things or some skilling.

Oh and when you click on home and then the top left three lines menu the only way to exit it is the click on something else to get a X in order to get out. annoying.

You need to simplify the play area the rest can be on a hidden interface including the mini game

Yes please change it back, I don't like this new layout, and I preferer the gray menu Icons compared to the colorful ones, the gray ones are less of an eye strain on most of the world's backgrounds compared to the bright colored ones

Minimap should not be on bottom .. I think you should consider swapping your UX designers :) I understand placing nav bars on bottom in mobile is good thing but it applies only in WEB .. This new UI layout making mobile gaming less intuitive and harder, its hard to click on this, overlapping half of skill bar is crazy problem. Most ppl using minimap maximized all the time.
