RS3 Mobile app Login loop

When I open the app, it loads and I get the option to:
"Continue with Email / Username"

when I click this, it opens up a browser window at secure.jagex.*** for me to login (which is different then before, as I previously had to fill in my login details in the app itself). So I fill in my details in the opened up browser and submit. This closes the browser, and the app shows me the initial loading bar again, after which it gives me the "Continue with Email / Username" option again (next to the login by Apple/Facebook/Google options).
Attempting to login by email/username takes me back to the browser, which takes me back to the loading bar/login screen loop.

I am also having the same problem. Though the second time I log in through the website I press log in and it gives me a message saying "your account has not logging out from it last session or the server is too busy to handle your request. Please try again in a few minutes". I've tried going through the runescape website and using the end sessions section of my account but still doesn't do anything. Just bought premium as well, can't say I'm happy really.

Hey there Luke, not sure if you fixed your problem. However as I do not know of an actual way to fix this problem I have a couple ideas that will probably work for you!!

First option: You should consider linking other services to your runescape account. EX. Google, Amazon Prime, Facebook ETC!!! This will give you different login options and may bypass your issue temporarily until the bug is fixed.

Second option: I dont know if you've always had this problem or if it just started happening. However sometimes simple problems have simple solutions.........Go into setting on your phone. Go into your "Apps" section. Find the Runescape App. You will now see a few options to view. Click on the storage option. The next page will have 2 options. Clear data and clear cache.

Clear cache: is a sorta data the game collects and downloads after a playing a while and interacting with different things. Try this option first and give it a shot.

Clear data: Since you aren't able to get in anyways I would go ahead and use this option along with the clear cache option. All this does is removes you're saved login info and things like graphic settings you saved for personal preference!! It does not make you re-download the game. This will most likely be a working option for you. But remember to go ahead and clear the cache also.

Please let me know if this fixes your problem at all so I can confirm it works for any future players !!!
