I fully accept taking a risk running to the abyss with or without a demonic skull. What is frustrating to me (besides being pked) is the addition of the archaeology relics that instantly teleport you to the center, thereby denying you access to the abyss monsters in order to regather the pouches. In order to reach them, to my understanding, you have to deactivate your relic just to access the monsters, and then reactivate it once you have accumulated your lost pouches (costing chronotes). If the counter argument is "then don't train in the wildy", the rewards to the runespan should be more enticing.
Additionally, I would like to see a keybinding made available to instantly lobby your character. It's widely recognized that "going to the lobby" is part of wildy pvp combat. As ridiculous as that is, it should be made more accessible because having the options menu open while actively running away from someone inhibits your ability to actually stay out of combat. The equivalent of this would be having to open up the options menu in order to engage in combat.
