Sutck at - Logging In - Please

I'm stuck at the logging in - please wait screen. The circle refreshes multiple times in a loop and it will say in the top left corner "loading - please wait" and then repeat. Finally after about the 4th or 5th repeat it just freezes. I've let it sit for 10 minutes like this and no change.

I though maybe i needed an active membership or something so purchased one and that didn't make a difference...

Any advice?

Well today this problem somehow rectified itself and Im able to login and play.
