Client Crashes Upon Log In

My mobile client was working fine since I got my new phone. Yesterday morning it crashed upon login. It gets in, I can see my character and it crashes immediately every time I try. I tried everything listed on this page and the FAQ. I even unistalled the client, rebooted my phone into recovery mode, cleared the phone's cache partition, and reinstalled the client. Same thing. I submitted a ticket to Jagex listing all I had tried and the response said try reinstalling the client proving that the person responding didn't even bother to read my request. I've been a paid member for years, c'mon Jagex.

My phone is a Samsung S20, less than a year old. I haven't rooted it or any other mods. Why did my client work great and suddenly die 1 day before double xp weekend?

I filed a service request several days ago and I got a copy-and-paste bot response to come to this forum so that a mod on the mobile team could help me, and they closed my request and did not answer my follow up question.

I came here and posted a request for help six days ago. No actual jagex employee has looked at this forum post or my original service request ticket.

Six days... I'm a premium member for over 2 years. I regret every penny and every second I spent on this game which Jagex made unplayable for me and they won't even help me get back in the game.

I tried every avenue I could think of to get back in this game and salvage what is left of my double xp time. I purchased materials to finally get my Crafting Cape with double xp.

During this time when I've been unable to play RS I have found a new game. Jagex has permanently lost a paying customer. I hate it because I loved this game enough to pay money to play it for over 2 years and I really wanted to earn that Completionist cape.

I'm not paying for a game I can't play.

Hello everyone, wanted to share my feedback.

Issue 1: Since the latest update the client freezes after no more than 30 seconds ingame, needs to be closed, forced to stop and relaunched (which takes several minutes), just to freeze again upon login. Have been playing mobile on a Huawei Honor 8X for two years, first time it freezes entirely like this.

Issue 2: For over a year now I've been (pretty randomly and not so often) experiencing my screen blinking rapidly between the game view and a black screen (but only the game view goes black, interface and buttons remain visible), it's quite annoying and feels like it hurts the eyes lol.

Thanks!, hope a fix is deployed soon. I enjoy mobile way more than pc version!

This has been going on for at least 2 months now. I've sent multiple emails to them and offered screen recordings and crash log showing issues. I haven't had anyone from runescape reach out to me other than the post yoy referenced above stating to go here. But I'm losing hope as they don't really seem to care. Figured they would want any information that may help resolve the issues.

Samsung note 20. Wifi or not same outcome. I've reset device factory fresh and that didn't help.

Finally I got a response from Jagex. It was a form letter they sent to everyone experiencing this problem. My gripe is that when I submitted a customer request they told me to post on this forum and closed my ticket. So I did just that and not a single Jagex employee responded. They completely blew me off like my problem didn't exist. A simple acknowledgement of my issue and a statement that they were working on it would have sufficed. I spent hard earned gold on crafting materials and was planning on hitting my first 99 during dxp weekend. Sad.

Seriously, I loved this game. I wanted a Completionist Cape. It's all sour now.
