I've had several instances of Google Play credit not working properly when attempting to purchase keys for Treasure Hunter, in game.
1. I currently can no longer purchase anything from the RS Store (Bonds, keys... etc.), because of "Payment Unsuccessful. Transaction Declined;" however, I had
just
bought keys (many of them) seconds before trying to buy more. I currently have $58 in Google Play credit, but I can't use it on anything RS related.
2. Before this occurrence, I had added three google play gift cards to my account, yet only two showed up in the RuneScape mobile app (All the money was showing up correctly on my Google Play account). I tried everything to "refresh" it: shut down my phone, logged out of google play... etc. but nothing worked. Once I made a purchase with the credit that was showing up, the rest of the money was then visible. I lost out on 50 free keys this way (because of the bonus for paying a certain amount, and getting a set number of keys). I had to ultimately split the purchase into two different transactions.
3. I have tried to figure out this problem using all the resources Jagex has given in help sections to no avail. I also cannot
for the life of me
figure out how to contact them about this. Pretty discouraging that I spent quite a bit of money on RS keys in the past few weeks.
This isn't a Google Play problem (as far as I can tell). Everything is working as it should on my Google Play account, but not when I'm in RS Mobile.
I won't be able to purchase anything else, until this is resolved. It's now been about a week-and-a-half since I can't make a purchase, and it's still not working.
