If it's any consolation i live 42 miles away from Jagex HQ and didnt get a spot, and i was pressing that link on the dot. It doesnt make sense that they wouldnt offer this to paying members first then fill any spots left over with first come first served?
I actually got approved, then TestFlight locked up saying it was unavailable. Then after repeated retries to connect to TestFlight, it dropped me
Mew Mew = HiHi
exactly what happened to me as well.
The message ends there; the pen seemingly dragged across the parchment suddenly, as if the writer had been taken by surprise...

Jagex player support is getting worse. How is is possible that people outside Europe get access to one of the 1000 place for the iOS Beta. The network latency make it simply impossible to compete with people that are on the same Internet provider than Jagex.
I concur with WonderWoman. Why is it this time that Premium members or older subscribers do not get reward for their dedication to the game. Having access to the iOS Beta is a clear advantage for the 1000 or players who got in while the rest of us need to get stuck behind a computer or buy a crapy Android device. Another disappointing customer experience.
I am genuinely struggling to understand why people are getting so riled up about not getting into a beta test (and to reemphasise that, it’s - a - beta) because I’ll be honest, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. It’s very clunky, regular chat is an absolute chore (although that doesn’t matter because the new community is basically anti social anyway), seemingly mundane actions like teleporting to lodestones cause crashes, sometimes the app crashes for no apparent reason at all, the minimap is virtually useless regarding accuracy and a whole other list of frustrations and/or issues.
I*m in likely a very unique situation compared to most unless they’re in the same. I’ve been without a PC for 2+ months (closing in on 3+) due to the lockdown in the UK, so I’m effectively stuck with my phone being the only means of accessing the game via this beta app (I’m actively reporting bugs/crashes by deliberately searching for them) and I’m telling you - this game is and always will be primarily built for PC. It works as a mobile app but it’s anything but comfortable or optimal.
Loyalty guarantee system is a bad idea because there’s always someone who’s been around longer than you; and I’m not talking about concurrent membership.
