I've been playing Runescape for a long time on and off. The first account I ever made was classic runescape. When I heard it was coming to mobile, i was excited. I was able to get into beta and as a non bossing player who dabbles in everything, I have mixed feelings but not in a bad way.
1. Hover mode should be a thing. I imagine it will be, but right now when I try to check xp until next level or how many components I have for something, I have to open the entire menu. For invention it doesn't even tell me what materials they are. Phones with hover mode should have this option. If I try to adjust abilities in hot bars but it doesn't let me have a description of the ability during the edit. Checking spells as well.
2. Hot bars. Have recommendations. I imagine rs mobile is mainly to target new players. Having a hotbar tips from aoe to dos to defense with the abilities you have available would be great for new players. Often times with logging, my hotbar switches.
3. Lighting issues. I do a lot of slayer and have seen multiple times lighting issues where it's a lot darker than should be. Almost unplayable. That's minor fox before full release.
4. Player lag. I have a Note 8, not exactly an old phone. I find myself hopping to worlds with little players so when I go to the GE, not priff, I dont get a ridiculous amount of lag. Small issue that can be fixed.
5. Make it so when you have area loot on, you can auto retaliate. Abyssal demons and aggro pots is a hassle. Im convinced area loot is the best for mobile for now. Small fix.
6. Adjustable overlays. This is gonna happen, I just cant wait for it.
Enjoying it so far, just small adjustments that can help a lot for people who try to do solo mobile. For people complaining saying mobile is going to ruin the game. Its closed beta. Get over it. Its gonna have bugs and need fixes.
