"Players who haven't obtained a Fire Cape should no longer be assigned Ice Strykewyrm tasks by slayer masters."

Isn't there the option to buy the ability to kill them without the fire cape using slayer points? I'm not in game at the moment so I'll try to remember to check with a slayer master.

edit to add: yes, you can buy the ability to kill ice strykwyrms without a fiery item with 2000 slayer points. This isn't needed with this update unless someone wants to use their firecape for something else such as getting the pet Jad.

Hey patch notes. I've asked this before, so is there some reason overhead chats cannot stay on-screen for longer? I guess some people communicate in 3 word sentences, but for instance, I cannot read what this new SOF cat is saying OR thine honorable Acheron Mammoths. Something about my ancestors and I am not sure if I should be offended or let him off with a warning.

And before someone tries posting a transcript of these dialogues; I don't care! I want to see for myself and I expect to.
