As a OSRS & RS3 player, I like how these two games can be played differently but still being "RuneScape". I really like and enjoy new updates added to OSRS but RS3-like things like DXP can't be added to OSRS because most of people playing OSRS came for the try hard/painful aspect of the original game, aswell as the pre-EOC combat mode. I don't want DXP to come to OSRS the same way I don't want RS3 to makes me feel playing OSRS.

There an Easy-Fashion-Scape and a Pain-TryHard-Scape, that's the 2 faces of the same coin, and I like them both ! Casual 'Scape. OSRS-RS3 player. Skilling. Questing. Bad PVM-er

Politely don't support. Although not the end of the world, I'd prefer the game to not give certain days xp incentives over others.

I think the grindy nature of OSRS is part of its identity and should remain that way to ensure achievements remain truly achievements. :)

Though I completely get where you're coming from!

Been playing since 2004. There are some OG runescape purists who gets offended when updates make things a bit easier for newer players, even less game changing are things like double xp weekends every couple months or during major holidays, they are simply bitter and that's their problem. Such events would encourage more people to play the game, and get more people to the end game content faster which are largely a platform to grow communities.

I see zero downside to implementing double xp weekends, except the bot detection working overtime (in conjunction with Runelite's bot detector plugin which has some Jagex developer support already).

So, where's the double XP weekends for the OSRS players Jagex? Make some routine polls.
