I'm also having this issue. On a jagex account that I was prevoiusly able to log into osrs mobile before. step#1 ->Now I launch the app and tap sign in with jacgex account, I enter my creds that are 100% correct and I've check there are no trailing spaces anywhere, they are the correct creds as I can still log in fine on a PC. I then enter my authenticator code and I'm sent back to the mobile app. The mobile app isn't still in the log in section and seems to start again, showing the black and white jagex logo and the loading bar before looping me back to step#1. This is not a battery or data optimisation issue on my device as I've tried logging in with all setting combinations. I've also changed my default browser several times and still have the same issue. between each settings and browser change I've reinstall and cleared game data and game cache.
I know it's not a battery optimisation issues as I can get the app to load into the log in screen where you can select how you would like to log in (using google or jagex), I can minimise the app and open other apps and still return to the osrs mobile app without it restarting from scratch. It seems to only be an issue after using the log in with jagex account button.
What was wrong with the previous log in system that was all inside the app? Why do we now have to use this new system that sends us into a webpage? Any help would be appreciated.
