You can no longer log Into the mobile client, when trying to continue with runescape account it does not work, you can only continue using Google account currently, this problem occurred after the recent update. J. Aspin

I've been having the same issue. Everything was working fine prior to when I updated it in May 2022. It wasn't until after I started having issues. I've been using the app almost since initial release.

The issue: Everything loads up fine to main menu. Google acc login works fine, but runescape acc login does not at all. Once tapped 'Continue With Runescape Account' It goes to load login screen where you enter username and password, but fails. It states "Connecting to Jagex..." but doesn't load credential screen. Instead it resets and has you choose between the two acc login types. It does this consistently. I've changed worlds. Hard restarted phone. Uninstalled/reinstalled. Logined to pc just fine. Been over a week now and mobile is still messed up.

Hello there,

Please make sure your mobile device operating system is up-to-date and runs on the latest available update. Mod Zig mentioned, some time ago, to not use the auto-fill option on your mobile device but type your login credentials manually.

If that did not do the trick try to open the login screen ( after you have hit the "continue with runescape account" option) with a different browser; click on the three dots - for example try using Chrome or any other web browser you use when browsing the internet on your mobile device. The log in page will reload and now you should be able to log in.

My mobile device is updated as well. The thing about hitting the ("continue with runescape account" option) is that i cant get to the next screen to enter my credentials. At all. I can only do so when continuing with a Google account. I can tap "continue with runescape account" option constantly and get the same message "connecting to jagex" but get no where. It worked perfectly fine until after the latest update. I cant even get to the three dots. When I try to login with a browser I can only sign in through the main page, but cant load up runescape due to runescape not being able to be played in a browser anymore. I constantly just get sent back to the selection page because the runescape account option doesn't allow me to connect to jagex servers, so it isn't letting me through to the credential screen via mobile app.

Have you tried removing the application from your mobile device. restart the device and re-install the application? This often does the trick. Make sure to restart your mobile device just to make sure.

You know the most annoying thing is about all of this is that. I've posted here, multiple times on Reddit and discords. Every recommendation I've gotten. And there's been a ton haven't worked. Like dozens and dozens. I've even emailed Jagex through the play store and still nothing. And I mean no disrespect to you if anything I appreciate you , you recommend something that I haven't tried (I've uninstalling but never with a restart) but I have honestly lost hope on playing this game especially annoying when I just spent hard earned GP on a bond that I won't even get to use.

Thanks Jagex good luck with fixing a problem that affects <.01% of your player base.
