Iphone 7 plus freezing phone

So me and a friend have been playing mobile and he has a iphone 7 plus hes cleared more than enough space on his phone and even re-installed the game. Recently its just been freezing up his whole phone not just the game. It only happens when playing osrs he also has the settings set to the lowest fps possible, anyone else having this issue ? Me personally i dont have an issue using iphone XR the device is up to date ios wise.. not sure what caused this to start happening out of the blue any kind of help would be appreciated!

This probably isn't the cause of the issue, but it's still something to keep in mind. The iPhone 7 was released approximately four years ago. Despite your friend updating to the latest current software, the phone's hardware may not be up to par despite minimum requirements/recommendations for playing OSRS.

Something like this could be attributing to the reason why your friend is having random lag spikes or freezes, whereas you can play smoothly (you mentioned you had a newer model iPhone).

Just a little something to keep in mind, hope this helps and hopefully this issue is something that can be fixed with an update!

Well usually i would agree the problem being an older model phone but in this case he has been playing mobile since it was released on mobile, just recently these events have occurred it’s definitely something to do with the app update and not the phone. Original message details are unavailable.
