Hello,

I've been using the mobile client since release and have largely had a great
experience. I really appreciate all of the effort you all have put into it, and
it's definitely improved my Oldschool Runescape gains.

With that said, I have some technical issues with the mobile client that have
been causing some troubles for me. I'm not sure if these issues have already
been reported, but if nothing else you'll have another account of these
problems.

Device name: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Model Number: SM-G935R4
Location: Midwest USA
Wifi: Yes
Cellular: 4G
Data Provider: US Cellular
OS: Android 8.0.0
Twitch app: v9.3.3
YouTube app: v15.28.35

Issue 1: Touch Calibration
I've actually seen this reported in another thread, but the fix mentioned there
is ineffective for me. When the client opens a keyboard or numeric keypad, all
subsequent taps are registered as being some ~50px higher than they actually
are. For me this only happens when using the native picture-in-picture through
the YouTube and Twitch apps. Even after the picture-in-picture is closed, the
calibration issue persists. The calibration is fixed when switching to another
app then back again. This issue is reproducible every time the keyboard is
opened from the client and is not a one-off occurrence.

Issue 2: Complete Blackout
This issue was discovered while trying to discover a fix for Issue 1 (and
actually caused the death of my previous hcim). When the using the Twitch app's
picture-in-picture on top of the mobile client, if the picture-in-picture is
full screened and then you switch back to the mobile client, the entire client
will be black. Afterwards, regardless of if the picture-in-picture or the whole
Twitch app is closed, the issue persists. Switching apps back and forth never
fixes this issue either. The only fix is to restart the app. I think the app is
still running while black, since the account is still logged on for a while.
This issue is kind of interesting - if other apps are switched to after
maximizing the picture-in-picture, they will not be black. This only happens
with the mobile client, and is always reproducible. Interestingly enough, this
only happens for the Twitch picture-in-picture and not the YouTube
picture-in-picture despite both of them using the native picture-in-picture of
my device.

Issue 3: Black rendering issue
I'm not quite able to give a detailed description of when this occurs as it
seems to happen randomly when switching apps while using Twitch / YouTube
picture-in-picture. Occasionally all of the terrain on the same level as my
avatar will be rendered as completely black when switching to the mobile
client. The GUI is rendered normally and things such as water appear normally.
NPCs are rendered black as well, but their health bars are colored. This issue
is fixed by adjusting the in-game brightness.

As you can see, these issues all revolve around a poor picture-in-picture
experience. The picture-in-picture is not coming from the mobile client, so I
don't know if there's much to be done to fix most of these issues from the Jagex
dev team. The Twitch app recently switched from using a custom resizable
picture-in-picture to the native picture-in-picture. Before that switch, these
issues only occurred using the YouTube picture-in-picture, so it would stand to
reason that this could be an issue with how the mobile client interacts with my
native picture-in-picture.

I would appreciate it if these issues are considered by the team.

Regards,
Ristvedt
