how would a one handed vertical version of runescape sound?
tilt the screen so that the bag is bottom left, keep map bottom right
add the second strip with cmb style under the first ribbon tab, allowing all menues to be clicked by thumb.
pop the chat box at the top, make a small tap to type button just next to the map and use a keyboard that covers the bag?
to visualise what I'm on about rotate the old school app on your phone and give vertical play a go.
this really gives a strong and firm player experience for your character.
