Trying to log into the game after a bit of a break using the mobile app. Am on a new phone if that matters.

Anyways, I keep getting a message saying I have invalid credentials. I’ve used both my email address and my user name. Am able to log into forums with my password. I’ve deleted and reloaded the runescape app, the Authenticator app, I*** even changed my acc to a new email. Nothing is working. I don’t understand why I’m unable to log in if all the information I’m entering is correct.

I*** tried both my username AND emails like the app is prompting. Isn’t working.

After you created your account (through the mobile app you downloaded) did you add a login email/password to your account?
Having the downloaded app does not mean the account automatically has a login email/password.
You actually have to add the login email/password afterwards.

Instructions to add a login email/password:
Android: Add a login email to Google created accounts
iOS: Add a login email to Game Center accounts

You won't be able to use a 'username' login.
Username logins are a legacy login method used by very old accounts (> 10years old).
