GAME CRASHING!!!!!

Since yesterdays update my mobile app keeps crashing after about 30 minutes and forcing me to restart the app which is very frustrating!!! I have lowered my fps to 30 to see if this helps which it does not aswell as feels like I’m playing on windows 95. I’ve had this before after an update and nothing seems to be mentioned about it as I’m sure I’m not the only one! Also the graphics as a whole have changed something is different and does not seem as smooth as before which I noticed straight away. You can understand my frustration last night doing all four paths on toa just to be kicked out of the app as I start the boss fight. PLEASE CAN I HAVE SOME ANSWERS

You aren’t alone! I play on an iPad Pro. I have done every quest on my iPad with unlimited frames for months until this last update. My game crashes about once every 30 minutes. It makes playing mini games impossible, and it is so frustrating.

I also wanna note that there is also something wrong with the resolution of the items specifically in my inventory. Everything is grainy after the latest update.

Other Mod on a different thread mentioned disabling loot tracker and ground items overlay. Still crashes with those disabled.

Really hoping for a fix because I cannot play a game that crashes so often.

24hr later and still no reply??!! No solution nothing just keeping us in the dark because your focus is purely on bounty Hunter leaving people who don’* want to get involved left aside. Just a simply message with a update on the matter at hand but nothing?! And now an update purely for bounty Hunter with a downtime which is unknown as you have not kept us informed again. Let’s see how long this message will get ignored for

Hello everyone! We'd like to give you something more official in regard to the ongoing issues with Mobile over the last month.

We've seen multiple reports of players having notable lag spikes, freezes and crashes on both iOS and Android since the release of Ground Items & The Loot Tracker. Alongside this players have reported some resolution and rendering issues with the release of the latest C++ Milestone.

Although our QA team is thorough and has the ability to test environments, nothing can ever compare to a live game with thousands of players all playing the game in different ways, especially when it comes to mobile where you have the added challenge of many different devices.

The team has been investigating and has found the issue to be client-side, which unfortunately means we can't send out a simple Hotfix as we can do with a plethora of content. In order to fix the issue after identifying the problem, the team would need to create a fix alongside an entirely new client version, which as you can imagine is a lot more work than a Hotfix.

As for when you can expect to see some improvement, we're currently working on two separate solutions that should help reduce these issues. The first is content-side optimisations which will be released in an upcoming weekly update, with more expected after the first. Although we can't give you an exact date just yet, the team is working very hard to get this out as soon as possible. 1/2

Apologies for the double post:

Alongside this, after an Engine update on Wednesday, June 7th the team will be releasing an additional Client update. This is currently scheduled for the week following and we will confirm closer to the date if this is still accurate.

In regards to the rendering issues, the team are also investigating the potential causes and looking to release some improvements to the client to help prevent those issues, we're looking to include this in a Client Update after the Engine update on the 7th, although this 2/2

I appreciate the problem being acknowledged and addressed, but that means I have to wait til the middle of June to maybe be able to play again?

I’m not able to do any dangerous activities or mini games and the menu hurts my eyes. This is not fun and waiting is not fun either.

seriously then is jagex going to fix this issue?
game is almost unplayable for me,since i am hcim and dc would mean almost 100% death for me if i did combat!
and why is Mod Sarnie or any ohter jagex mods advertising they are aware issue their own in this forum,instead finding it out from 3th party source?INSNT THIS A OFFICIAL FORUM?
and lastly why is jagex not openly advertising this issue and not warning players?since it is jagex side issue and not player side
