Loving it so far but i can't really do much intense combat. One example being demonic gorillas due to the prayer switching and with the prayers being difficult to activate often times im not able to get them on in time. My solution to this would be to allow the prayer tab and your inventory tab to be opened at both times and also make it a lil easier to hit them probably by fixing the "hitboxes" of the prayers.
However with this feature implemented that may give mobile users an advantage in pvp combat. To prevent and solve this my suggestion would be to make it so you can only have 2 tabs up or just the prayer and inv tab up in non pvp worlds.
I just did some vorkat* attempts they went real smooth except one thing. When you try to cast crumble the undead and you get unlucky that the spawn is on the left side of your screen you cant proper click it becaus the magic book screen is still open. Maybe you should let it auto hide when you try to cast that in bossfights or something idk
Just something minor with navigation. When you tap on the Minigames drop down box it doesn't let you hold and drag to navigate it and you can only use the scroll bar.
Logging in i think was the toughest part. Clicking to enter my password was difficult with the keyboard up. Even though the keyboard has a [Next] option on it, by habit i click the password to enter my password.
Not sure if this has been reported yet, however I'm experiencing extreme screen flashing when attempting to flip my phone 180 degrees when in the app. It seems as though when I turn my phone 180 degrees from the orientation from which I started, the screen keeps flipping back and forth between my original orientation and the one I'm currently attempting to use.
I just paid for a membership to try this out and a bug has already stopped me from progressing. The tutorial wants me to run but my character will not run if i toggle run on. He just keeps walking and so i cant proceed through the tutorial
It would be nice if certain "useful" tiles were prioritised when tapping on the minimap. I've been making cannonballs at Edgville for the last hour and when my fat thumb taps on the bank it covers the whole building! I could end up anywhere instead of the tile next to the bank window which I intended to hit in the first place. Likewise, when I click to go back to the furnace I end up being sent out behind the building.
The tap/press control is a good idea. Have to play it more to really test it, but so far has worked ok.
When I press an item in my inventory, though, it's a bit hard to read the list with options ('eat', 'drop' etc) with my finger in the way. Maybe there could be a standard location for that list to appear, outside of the inventory box, with item name at the top? So that it would read 'chicken:', 'eat', 'drop'.
I would like to point out how difficult it is to scroll through quest logs, music tab, bank screens, etc. With the current functionality of the controls. It would be more fluid if a swipe up in that region would scroll down (without using the scroll bar).
I know its been mentioned, but I feel very strongly about improving this. Keep up the good work, team!
