Unable to play on mobile?

I made my account somewhere back in 2015/2016, stopped playing for a bit then recently started again when OSRS came to Steam. I linked my Runescape account to my Steam account and usually play desktop through Steam by clicking "Steam Log-In".

However now when I try to sign in on my iPad or with RuneLight with my email and password (both correct, I have access to the email and have tried resetting my password multiple times, so I know I am using the correct one) I am hit with the "Invalid Credentials" message. I am unaware of what else I can do here, it seems I am ONLY allowed to play through Steam. Even to sign in to the website I have to click the "Steam Log-In" button.

If anyone has had this problem could you please let me know what you did to fix? Thank you :)

It sounds like your "email" login is different from your registered email - a login never changes, but a registered email can - try clicking No, Yes: Can't log in?
This will send you an email to the email address that you added to the form. The email you receive will contain a list of all RS logins associated with that email address.

You can then reset your password for those logins, and try logging into the site or client.
After doing so, do you see the same character name as you do when logging in with Steam?
