Hey guys, just wondering. Is it allowed nowadays to trade between your own accounts on OSRS and RS3? When I still played actively in 2005 it was against the rules to drop-trade or trade via multiple logins (trading with yourself). Jagex shortly after implemented a change that made it only possible to trade value for similar value, has this changed? Thinking of coming back to RS to relive good old nostalgia, but it's quite daunting to start from scratch again.

Yes, it is fine to trade between your own accounts though you can only trade within a game version e.g. RS3 -> RS3 or OSRS -> OSRS.

Don't drop trade as it won't work - have the two accounts logged in at the same time.

As a returning player, I recommend you browse the Support Centre for articles that might help you get up to speed on the 2020 game.
