was doing altar runs at the chaos altar, my bonus xp ran out and i was down to 252 xp per bone. why no double xp? its ganna be some bs if its because the altar already gives you a multiplier because i can do that without dxp active. please fix or explain.

This pretty much lists the activities that don't benefit from DXP Weekend.

You must have spent your bonus exp even while DXPW wasn't active.
