Established March 2008


Welcome to Ardougne Football Club.

Founded in March 2008, Ardougne Football Club originally started life as Ardougne City, partaking in the National Gnomeball League (NGL), achieving a semi-final finish in 2011. In 2012, Ardougne switched to Citadel Football and have played in the National Rugby Championship (NRC) and Citadel Football League (CFL).

Please note - Ardougne F.C. and the CFL are currently dormant, as there are a number of graphical issues with citadel battlefields that Jagex refuses to fix, and as such, this thread exists for the purposes of posterity.

History


Ardougne F.C. was formed in 2008 as Ardougne City Gnomeball Club by Dez 2000. We initially started out playing gnomeball in the National Gnomeball League, with our best-ever performance happening in the twelfth season of NGL, securing a semi-final place before narrowly losing 48-50 to eventual league champions, Harchester United. In August 2011, the National Gnomeball League had played its final game and would not return for another season, leaving Ardougne City dormant for the next three years.

Ardougne joined the National Rugby Championship in 2014, where, in Season 7, we reached the NRC S7 final but lost out to F.C. Bayern Mort'ton who successfully defended their title.

In 2017, Ardougne F.C. came back and joined the Citadel Football League, making the final in our first season after finishing second place in the regular season, although we lost to an unbeaten Rellekka Roadmen team 7-1.
