Welcome to Spatial Dimensions Shadow Version. Before continuing, congratulations to Teddygrams for clearing the previous Spatial Dimensions Challenge (Barrows Version). The first phase of this challenge is the same as before – defeat all my alts (in this round there are now 9 total) in the North-East corner of the Grand Exchange. Doing so will reward you 10m if you are one of the first ten to beat my main. Afterwards, I will also allow you to partake in the second part of the challenge: Solving this forum puzzle. If you are sure you have the pin and location of the chest containing the dye, there are two ways to participate in a shadow dye hunt. First, I announce a session on World 2 Grand Exchange at a random time "A shadow dye has spawned! Those who cleared first phase may receive a key to find it." Second, participants may 'force spawn' by pming me. I allow only 3 pms per participant and each session lasts an hour. If for any reason I have real life obligations, I will save the remaining time for the next force spawn.

To get there faster, solve the following cryptic pertaining to the location of the dye:

I lie ensconced before the mouth
Of a frozen cavern guarded by shadow,
If only my azure sister were here instead,
She’d befriend the demons within this humble abode.

However, there is also a pin on the chest. To solve the pin, you must first find the thread on the official forums where the clue is buried using the QFC provided in the puzzles below:

Figure out the minimum number of moves needed to complete the below puzzles. Move only one tile per move:

1.

2.

3.

4.

5. Follow the instructions in the puzzle below

6. Count the total number of dead ends in the labyrinth of the shadow warrior
Dead end: Any recess you cannot back out of in 3 steps.

7. Find the total weight in grams of the anagram:
“you your I more soul than love for”

8. Find the product of ‘the total number of letters of the name of the NPC that leaves after you solve the above anagram’ and ‘the total number of statues in the room’ plus the total number of red dots if you see a smiley on your mini map, multiply if you see a neutral, divide if you see a broken and subtract if you see a sad.

9. Write down the answers in order of the questions above as a single number (no addition involved here).

10. Split the above 11-digit number into 2 8-digit numbers: (xyzwv followed by the first three digits of your 11-digit number) and (last 8 digits of your 11-digit number)

11. Solve y(xv-3v-x+3)(zw-9w-3z+27)=0 for xyzwv.

12. For the remaining 3 digits of your first 8-digit number, subtract 655. If your answer is less than 3 digits, then put it into 3-digit form by adding an appropriate number of 0s in front of your answer.

For the second set of 8-digits, subtract 11902145.

13. Write out the first set of 8-digit number then the second set to give a 16-digit number.
14. Put the above number into the form xxx-xxx-xx-xxxxxxxx which is the QFC to the final puzzle hidden in one of my responses to the thread on
page 6 post 8 on a forum alt
.

A word of caution: Remember to keep safe during the event. The dye is NOT in any part of the wilderness or the Gamer’s Grotto. Anyone telling you otherwise is a scammer or lurer. Also, the final puzzle is hidden on a random thread of the OFFICIAL RUNESCAPE forums, not anywhere else. Anyone claiming the puzzle is on another website is a phiser. On a final note, good luck to all participants!

Oh one more thing: Bring a SPADE! You'll need that to dig the chest first!

Changes

Puzzle number 14 has been adjusted to make clear the final puzzle is posted on a forum alt (to prevent digging through my forum history) and now points to the exact page and post number.

Puzzle number 6 has been adjusted to clearly state what is a dead end and what isn't. The final result is still the same.

Puzzle number 5 has been nerfed from a stupendous 10 by 10 sliding puzzle to a 5 by 5 sliding puzzle standard for elite and master clues in Runescape.
