The RS Forums are being retired after more than two decades.

It served as an important part of our community - at one point, even winning a Guinness World Record for the 'most videogame-related forum posts per day'; In 2013, 27,000 posts were posted every 24 hours.

It only seems right that we give the Forums a fitting farewell.

Are you interested in joining a casual event to say goodbye?
If there is interest, we can collectively organise an event, with support from those available to help.

Conscious that after 25 Jan (when the Forums become read-only), we may not be able to discuss this here and may need to relocate to another platform. However, an initial suggestion is below.

17:00 Game Time (UTC)
Saturday 23 March 2024 (last weekend before Forums are taken offline)

Where?
World 11, Varrock Square

What?
• Gather at Varock Square, dressed in your finest
green clothes
.
• Parade to Falador Party Room via Grand Exchange.
• Parade to Falador Farm, stock up on cabbages.
• Parade to Draynor, stock up on fireworks from Diango.

Great that some are interested! We may need to shift to Discord / elsewhere to organise, especially if we go for 23 March date (last weekend before Forums due to go offline).

Please shout if you have any ideas re. advertising this.
