EDIT: oops, thought 200 words instead of characters. Well, that's my horror story then, wrote a thing for nothing
Here's my real submission:
“Aggie, I see” Aggie was frightened; she'd heard this voice before. A shriek.
She was terrified to look out, but did it anyway. Outside was a bloodbath: a corpse in green clothing, and a man, grinning

Original (199 words):
Aggie was stirring her cauldron, creating a sleeping potion because weariness could not come over her. She was preparing for Hallowe'en; a once-a-year event which all the witches and wizards would attend.
Zanaris shone pretty in the dusky nightfall, yet Aggie felt uncomfortable. She was used to shady people by her house, but lately, something else seemed to be congregating.
A voice: "Aggggieeeeee". She stiffened. "I seeeeeee..." She couldn't hear it properly. Aggie quickly magically barried the door but the voice was still sharp and chilly as ice.
"Aggieeeee, Lonely and southern I feel". Aggie did not know what that meant, but she was terrified. A metal sound clang. Aggie peered out of her window, and saw some wraith-looking appearance, looking her straight in the eye.
She screamed and backed off. The appearance picked up the spade he dropped.
Is he digging a grave? - Aggie thought. She'd rather not think about it.
Suddenly, sword clatter! A shriek:
AAAAAAHHHHHWRRRRRRH!
It sounded terrible: frustrated and furious. Afterwards, silence. Aggie could not see out of her house, for the window had turned red entirely. Blood, it seemed, and the wraith was gone.
Outside laid another fresh, disfigured corpse in green clothing.
