Goodness gracious Mr Tudjay has a job!
After handing in an application on Monday to my local organic food market (I've been a gardener for them for three years, but my eligibility was terminated due to my 'aging out'), I received a call during lunch today asking for an interview, which they scheduled four hours later.
I was expecting to wait a week or so before hearing from them because jobs at this market are very competitive (their minimum wage is $9.25/hr), but instead, the grocery department manager told me at the end of the interview that he'd like to offer me the position.

I have a lot of friends that pull a lot of weight with the company, so I have them to thank for putting in some good words, but I'm ridiculously thankful to get such a great paying job in such a great environment.

2) This means I might be a bit more busy on the weekends.

I will stay as active as a I can! Hope to see you all this weekend.
I start work next week as their new grocery assistant. Great job for a soon-to-be 17 year old. ^_^
