If you would like to participate in the competition but have not yet signed up, let me know here and I'll add you to a team. :)

Just as a reminder, the team that gains the most average exp in at least two of the three categories will win. Good luck to both teams and have fun!

Team A gained the most average exp in all three categories, making them the winning team! Congratulations to everyone on their achievements. :)

Skilling competitions have always been a nice way to fill in the gaps between events, and I'd really like to continue holding them. Although simple competitions, such as those based on overall exp, are fun, I've been thinking of ways to make competitions more exciting. Obviously, this competition was pretty different from those we've held in the past, considering there were three separate lists of skills and three smaller competitions based on skill categories running within the overall frame of the competition. Of course, I hope that everyone enjoyed the competition as much as I did, but I have a few concerns:

- Was the competition too confusing? Was it easy to understand how it was going to work?
- Were there too many or not enough skills to choose from?
- Are team-based competitions ideal? If so, should teams be selected as they are now (randomly), or in a different way?

I know Steven had an interesting idea on the previous page about selecting skills randomly and assigning them to people who sign up for the competition. Is this something that we should try, or would you rather have more control over the skills you train for competitions?

If you could provide any feedback about skilling competitions, I would really appreciate it, even if it doesn't necessarily pertain to the concerns I addressed above. Your feedback is valued even if you didn't participate in the most recent competition. In addition to hosting more skilling competitions, I am hoping to hold a greater variety of competitions both in-game and on the forums. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

Expect to see more events on the front page soon. :)

Congrats Team A, nice job. A big round of applause to Team B as well. :)

Now onto your concerns Mwim...

No, it was pretty easy to understand in my opinion.

I didn't think there were too many skills. I think it was a decent amount in general.

I like team-based competitions. However, having individual player competitions would be interesting as well I think. One type of competition I would like to see is something like a firemaking competition at the Jadinko lair (i.e.: who can burn the most curly roots in X amount of time?). *drumroll*

Sadly, there is a problem with this type of competition. There is no way of this being tracked. Maybe one day Jagex could add in some type of tracker where players could track certain things complete. The curly roots competition being an example of this. Until we get some sort of device for this, then a competition like this I don't think is possible.

Should teams be selected randomly or not? I honestly think it depends on the type of competition. I am perfectly fine with random selection of teams. A different way is fine too. I really don't mind. :P

I would be fine with giving his idea a go one day. It's worth a shot and wouldn't hurt to try it once.

That's all of my feedback.

Thanks :)

Regarding what I mentioned about the firemaking competition...

We can't track how many curly roots we've all burned, but we can track the actual firemaking experience each player gained. I think this would be the only way we could have a competition that would allow us to see who got the most of "x" (firemaking xp in this case being x).

Thoughts? :P
