Introduction

Welcome to this year's New Revolution Wrestling series. We're back under a new name with new hosts, ready for some more high quality fighting action from our wrestlers. These shows will take place on Saturdays at 9pm GMT/4pm EST under the classic and well-loved rules. The location is the familiar Rimmington house portal, World 137.

-The first show of NRW is set to start on Saturday 11th.

If you wish to be eligible for the series then waste no time in applying on the thread. We need to see your name on here before we put you down for the action. On the application you can specify a gimmick for yourself, which will be your alter-ego in a sense. This can be whatever you want it to be but remember we will be referring to you as it in all of our shows. We will also be able to sort you into your weight category which decides what titles you will compete for.

3. The Rules

These rules apply to all non-hardcore matches, and can only be broken if the GM says so.

1. The matches are melee only . They are also fought in legacy combat mode.

2. No interference- You cannot enter the ring or attack if you are not part of that match. This also includes healing participants, unless they need "HP'ing" after a match. At no point can you attack the GM.

3. No food/potions/healing items- Self explanatory, healing of this nature is against the rules.

4. No visible prayer- Any prayer that appears above a participant's head is banned.

5. No summoning- Familiars and pets must be kept out of the ring.

6. No auras- Cannot be activated before or during a fight.

7. No weapon cosmetic overrides- Your actual equipment must be visible at all times.

8. The 10 second rule- If a participant hops out of the ring, they then have 10 seconds to get back in before they automatically lose.

9. Tag team ease of access rule- During tag team matches, anyone not on a respective team must move away from the teams' corners to allow easy switches.

10. Sportsmanship and respect- While trash talk and out of ring conflict is common, please make sure it is within the spirit of RSW. Controversial insults such as racism are strictly forbidden.

11. Please put "I have read the rules." Somewhere in your application.

12. In Hardcore Matches, combat restrictions are suspended with the exception of the legacy combat rule.

13. Remember that every match counts.

Failure to comply with these rules can result in disqualification if in a match, and can also result in suspensions or bans.

6. Match Types

These matches can be under standard or hardcore format.

Regular Single- A standard match between two wrestlers

Last Man Standing- When a wrestler dies, the amount of time they spend outside the ring accumulates. If a wrestler spends 10 seconds in total outside the ring they lose the match.

Ironman- Whichever wrestler achieves the most kills in a set amount of time wins the match.

Lumberjack- Hosted in a dungeon. If a wrestler hops out of the ring they can be attacked by players outside it. However, they can only use non-statboosting food outside of the ring.

Steel Cage- A match fought inside a steel cage, therefore no hops.

Inferno- A match fought inside a steel cage. Oh, and the floor is on fire...

Elimination Chamber- An ensemble match fought in the elimination chamber of a dungeon.

Dungeon Brawl- An ensemble match fought over an entire dungeon.

Royal Rumble- Each participant is assigned a number which corresponds to their ring entry. E.g number 1 will enter the ring first. After all numbers have entered the ring, the last man standing is declared the winner of the match.

Battle Royal- A ring match between a mass of competitors with no hops. The winner is the last man standing.

Triple Threat- A match between three competitors, usually of the same level range and alignment.

Handicap- One of the sides will either outnumber each other or have a combat related handicap e.g no prayer.

Fast Kill- In a tournament format, the wrestler to kill his opponent in the fastest time will win.

Normal Tag Team- A standard match between two tag teams (2 people on each).

Tornado Tag Team- A tag team match in which both tag team players are in the ring at once.

Tag Team Turmoil- A match consisting of more than two tag teams. The last tag team standing is the winner.

Tag Team Ensemble- A tag team match between two teams of more than two players.
