Some FAQs for our Winter Sweepstake competition. Please add any further questions you have as comments below.

What is the competition and how can I enter?

Our Winter Sweepstake competition is a sweepstake-style competition. Head over to our competition page on Facebook , enter your details, and voila! You’re entered!

You don't even need a Facebook account to enter.

You can also gain additional entries by sharing the competition with your friends on Facebook and Twitter. For every friend who enters using the link you’ve supplied, you’ll get two additional entries into the draw.

Please note: in order to enter the competition, you will only need to supply your email address and tick the box to agree to the terms and conditions – the other fields are optional.

When is the deadline for entries?

Entries close at 23.59 GMT on December 24th, 2016.

What are the prizes?

The prize is a Razer Blade Stealth Laptop , UK Layout, 4K - 512GB. Full spec is available on the website.

You'll also get a life-sized Brassican Godsword , to celebrate 15 years of RuneScape, AND a Cooler Master Storm Devastator Combo (keyboard and mouse) for all your gaming needs!


How will we choose a winner, and how will that winner be contacted?

A winner will be chosen from all the entries on the Old School, RuneScape, RuneScape Francais, RuneScape Deutsch and RuneScape Brasil Facebook channels using a random number generator, and will be contacted via these means:

• The email address supplied upon entry (so make it one you check frequently!)
• The RuneScape name you supply upon entry – i.e. your in-game inbox.

You will have 7 days to claim your prize. If it is not claimed, another winner will be chosen.

We'll contact the winner at the start of January.

It's open to anywhere (providing you can receive post!) - it will be an English formatted keyboard though.

The timing on this giveaway brought a chuckle for me, my computer is less than a year old, had been paid off for two months - and has already had one major failure, and I fear another is looming. A gaming laptop sure would come in handy!

Not even a gaming PC... Has no dedicated GPU.

Doesn't really matter anyways as all Nvidia cards are so poorly optimized in NXT. I stopped playing a while ago, but stopped in to check out NXT and would frequently get fps dips on a OC 4GB GTX 770, OC i7-4970k, and 16GB of RAM. I know my rig is a couple years old now, but it should be more than enough to run RS, considering I can run games such as GTV5, Just Cause 3, and all the terribly optimized early access zombie games on steam with no hiccups on ultra settings. Hopefully you all have taken people with larger rigs into consideration.
