FlipChat1 is a flipping community that keeps track of Godwars Dungeon 1 and 2 item prices. The aim of the channel is to help the community to make money whilst using the Grand Exchange, whether they're new to flipping or have experience.
Last October, we celebrated our 3-year anniversary whilst raising money for Cancer Research UK, reaching a staggering £271.69 across the 3-day event. Over this event we gave away over one billion GP and with the help of Jagex, concept art and membership prizes to the RuneScape community!
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about events - either on this thread or in our clan chat (vTw), and to make suggestions and offer improvements for future events.
Any player can join our friends chat and attend events hosted by us. On this post, you'll find all of the details you will need to know in order to get involved with our 4-year event. Be sure to save the dates!
Fundraising - WWF
The charity being supported this year is WWF. This charity won in a vote by the FlipChat1 community. WWF is the world’s leading independent conservation organisation that works in more than 100 countries, addressing issues from the survival of species and habitats to climate change, sustainable business and environmental education. This charity was established on 23rd November 1961.
Over the course of the event, our main aim is to promote and raise awareness of this charity. We have created a JustGiving page in order to raise funds for WWF. For those able to donate, there will be a chance of winning the following prizes:

Social Platforms
Livestreaming - Twitch
The whole event will be streamed live on our TwitchTV channel! This can be found at Twitch/FlipChat1FC. Make sure you're following us before the event to be notified when we're going live - we might even be giving away some goodies on stream!
Social Media
We will be extending this event again to our social platforms, being Facebook and Twitter. Each competition below has a guaranteed prize value of 10M GP. These events will run for approximately two hours at the following times:
~ 06:00 - 08:00 GMT
~ 12:00 - 14:00 GMT
~ 22:00 - 00:00 GMT
The list below includes the type of Twitter/Facebook competitions that will take place:

This will be similar to the #FindJD competition ran by RuneScape. This competition involves
players finding the location where we’ve taken a picture at on RuneScape and sending us a picture of their character at the location.
~ Lucky Hashtags
To enter this competition send us a message which includes the lucky hashtag for that 2-hour event period. An example of this could be: ‘FlipChat1 Anniversary #RuneScape’, which will be enough to enter you into the final prize draw.
~ Flip-themed Comments
A bit more challenging! To enter this competition send us a tweet/comment with your best flipping-themed poems. The best three will be entered into a draw, may the best artist win!
~ Like/RT Competition
To enter this competition you simply need to retweet a specific tweet or like a
specific post on our pages. You can even enter on both social platforms! Double the chance to win, chosen at random.
You'll only be entered if you send us a message within the event time! Don't miss out.
