While the original DXP weekend did last for 72 hours, realistically, no one ever played it for the full 72 hours unless they were juiced up on Energy Drinks and a dick ton of coke. That would just be way too unhealthy and crazy. For many people, it was very difficult to find the time on a weekend to even have the time to play for 36 hours, let alone 72. Therefore, I think it's safe to say that 36 hours spread over a duration of ten days sounds like a much more manageable and healthier alternative.

Why is bonus xp not doubled and actually even less than normal??
I only get 295% of the normal xp rate and I even have my 6% bonus xp from citadel active which makes it 289% of the normal rate in a skill I have millions of bonus xp in.

This system is even worse than before as you get less xp than normal.
