Quirk: Many thanks! Yes we had fun with WEB Events on Sunday- the Pest Control event lasted around two hours (we lost one fight though…). I would love to do more joint events in future too.

Hi Wire1- Yes! You can post here after the thread is unstickied! Any ideas for new events are always welcome too- we have a nice schedule of wacky events planned for the Christmas period too (all with silly stories/poems of course :P )
Whoah! The weekend is nearly upon us (I will be popping along to lots of events this weekend with other teams too- hope to see some of you there!)

Thanksgiving’s “Time of the Turkeys!” (F2P)

“Gobble, gobble!” said Veronica the Turkey
Thanksgiving seemed to have arrived a little late in the sleepy hamlet of Draynor. Veronica was excited today- she had been looking forward to this moment for nearly a year. Her owner, the Wise Old Man, had spoken to her in Turkey tongue to let her know that she should anticipate this to be a pivotal moment in her life.
“Yes my dear, I know that you are excited” said the Wise Old Man “You are my pride and joy”
In pride Veronica stuck out her chest, and flapped her wings, straining her neck to stand tall above the hoi-polloi (she looked down her beak at her brothers and sisters who were scratching around in the field for pieces of seed)
*Gobble, gobble” said Dorothy the Turkey, shaking her head. For some reason, Dorothy had always disapproved of Veronica- she was probably jealous.
“Veronica my dear, your time has come!” said the Wise Old Man.
Veronica flapped her wings in excitement, and started in the direction of the Wise Old Man.
“Gobble, gobble” said Dorothy the Turkey, shaking her head.

“Yes, my dear” said the Wise Old Man “that was rather tasty! I will set off now in the direction of the Grand Exchange to sell these bones, and assortment of feathers- it might even be enough to pay for a curry tonight!”
“Yes Dionysis” said Zenvivia, the Wise Old Man’s beloved “there is plenty of turkey left over if you can pick up a bowl of curry at the Grand Exchange”

To celebrate Thanksgiving and to protest at poor old Veronica’s treatment in the hands of the Wise Old Man we shall be starting the event in Draynor!
We will then march to the Grand Exchange in a Conga
When at the Grand Exchange we will light fires and all perform the Turkey emote in protest of Veronica’s treatment (we will perform the emote on top of lit logs!)
Party/Clan Wars after? Any ideas?
