I started RuneScape 3 yesterday, and earlier today 6h ago, I chose to join membership (picked 1 month) which I paid by card. I wished try the RuneMetrics Pro and did see for membership there would be a discount.
But it still lists for 53.99 SEK for me (I am logged in on my account on this site, and I go to the checkout as far I can before the pay now button to see if it recognize it later, but it does not).
It sure feel like a bit of rip-off when a benefit would be a discount.
I indeed read the webpage provided in post above, but seems not to be accurate at all. Would I need first to pay full price or what?

Discounted RuneMetrics Pro is available only to those who buy Premier Membership.

Premier Membership is the twelve month membership.
If you selected the one month membership, you won't get RuneMetrics Pro at the discount rate.

Information about Premier Membership

If you would like to buy a Premier Membership, you can just go ahead and buy it.
It will auto cancel your one month payment plan but you won't lose the month you have paid for.
