Hello, I've been trying to purchase bonds via steam wallet and, after authorizing the payment on steam, the followind error appears: "The payment has been refused. Please check your payment details and try again, or select another payment method." Suffice to say that I do have enough funds to purchase the bonds, and i previously purchased membership via steam without any problems. Does anyone know a workaround or a solution? Much appreciated.
How many Bonds are you trying to buy?
If you are trying to buy a higher quantity, try lowering the quantity to see if that works.
You might be hitting your purchase limit for Jagex Bonds.
It really does sound like you have hit the purchase limit for your account.
Jagex have purchase limits in place to counter against online fraud as Bonds are the item of choice for fraudsters.
All you can do is wait until Jagex allows you to purchase Bonds again. It might be a whole week before you are able to purchase more Bonds.
Ok, so, i got the steam funds removed from my account, and no bonds were added, also, i purchased 10 more bonds with BoaCompra, is there anything i can do or should i just wait? I got the screencaps if needed
If Steam has removed money from your wallet to pay for Bonds that couldn't be sold, they will return the money.
Same with Boa Compra.
If you have problems with getting the money returned, there are links to Steam support and Boa Compra support on the
Unsuccessful payment
information page.
Hello, my funds weren't refunded, but i imagine it's because of the "cooldown" per se to avoid scams, and once it resets, the bonds would be added to my account, could this be the case?
How long have you waited for the money to return?
It could be up to 5 days before the money is returned as Steam aren't immediately made aware that Jagex has declined the purchase.
After five days, your first step would be to message Steam support and ask about the money.
If Steam insist the payment went through, you would then message Jagex Billing Support via the 'Contact Us' button on the
Unsuccessful payment
page.
