Been trying to renew my premier subscription that suddenly got inactive for some reason, no warning ingame or anything. Suddenly I had around 60 items too many in my bank. I also know my premier membership shouldn't have run out now, I currently have membership for 2024, and premier membership has been my only way of payment for 5 years or so now.

Clicked continue beneath the big golden button that says premier membership, got sent to the checkout site, and nothing. The only payments that's there, is 1 month and 6 months subscriptions.
Can I get some help with this? I cannot really play the game in this state, unless I remove 60 or so of my bank space, which is not really an option.

Hi there
satans soule

The old Gold Premier Club membership could only be purchased one year at a time.
If your account has a large amount of advance membership, it must be regular membership, not Premier. You may have had the excess membership sitting there for years.

If you have advance membership into 2024, the system might be preventing you from buying more large amounts of membership. Which might explain why you can only select 1 month or 6 months subscriptions.
If you were to sign up for Premier Membership, you would be adding another 12 months paid membership, meaning your account would be paid up into 2025 and I don't think the system would allow you to be paid up in advance into 2025!
You might have to use up some of that paid for membership before being able to buy more!

Also, investigate if you have purchased all the available Bank Boosters in Solomons Store. You might be able to buy a Bank Booster or two to help with the bank overflow.

Here are the instructions to check exactly what type of membership subscription you have on your account.
How to Check your Subscription:
Log into account management (My Account at the top of this page)
On the right hand side, under 'Membership' you can see three buttons.
Does the bottom button say 'Manage Subscriptions' or 'Billing Support' ?
If it says 'Manage Subscriptions' , it means you have a recurring subscription.
If it says 'Billing Support' , it means you don't have a recurring subscription.

If it says 'Manage Subscription' , click then click 'View by Account'
You will be taken to a screen that shows exactly what subscription type you have under the 'Packages' heading.
If you have Premier Membership, it will say so.

Okay, firstly; I have checked numerous times, and I do have all the available Bank Boosters from the Solomons Store. My bank inventory currently says I've got 1430 items out of 1370 because of this happening so suddenly.

Secondly; is there any way for me to recind, cancel or remove that excess membership? Or is it possible for me to do this by cancelling the recurring subscription? I checked, and it says that I've got a 3 month member subscription package with a start date of 29-05-2015 and an end date of 19-04-2024.

Thirdly; It is not feasible for me to play this game if I've got to delete or remove so many items from my bank to actually be able to put anything in it or reorganize it. I would very much appreciate all the help I could get.

Thank you in advance.

I'm having all kinds of trouble also. Earlier this year, I found out I'd been paying for someone else's inactive membership, and after verification Jagex discontinued that billing and moved the game time over to my account. So I'm paid through 2026 (crazy.) Please note that I did not ASK for Jagex to transfer that membership. They simply did it. If I'd been asked, I would have requested it transfer to a new account I'd create, because I'd have happily tried an alt. My opinion was not solicited.

But that should not mean I'm not allowed to purchase Premier benefits if I want to. To tell me that I am "banned" from Premier until 2026 just makes me want to quit entirely. Why not offer a separate, discounted Premier price that does NOT include membership but does include other Premier benefits for those with extra paid membership time?

I feel that "buy bank space via Solomon's" is a really lame fix for the lost bank spaces, as I've clearly already spent money on this game, and what I want are ALL Premier benefits, not just extra bank space. Jagex needs to fix this.

If you have a paid membership through X, then allow Premier benefits-only purchases. Not sure I'm being clear with this!

Also, this sort of shake-up during DXP really, really stinks.

Announcement about this problem of not being able to purchase Premier Membership

Players experiencing problems purchasing Premier Membership should message Billing Support to get some individual assistance.
There is a buggy issue with the billing system and all the posts from you guys has drawn attention to it! :)
Jagex is now addressing the issue internally and would like affected players to message them.

Please use the 'Contact Us' button on the Transfer purchase support page.
While a "transfer" isn't exactly the issue, the contact point is good enough to get your message to the people that need to see it.

If there IS a buggy issue with the billing system, I'll just say "what a weird and very specific bug"
Hopefully Jagex will manage to fix this fairly soon if this happens to be the case.

I already sent a couple messages through the "Contact Us" buttonon the Transfer purchase support page. It says there that the respons time is usually in 48 hours from the message was sent.
I sent my first one on Sunday 13th of November, haven't heard a thing back. 48 hours indeed.

Should I just cancel my subscription, then purchase the premier one instead? That doesn't really sit well with me, as I don't know where the money I've spent but haven't "used" will end up.

Cancelling your subscription won't change or remove the problem. The money you haven't "used" will continue to be used up. The paid for time is still honoured and membership will not be removed immediately just because you cancel.

Yes, the bug is quite specific and not affecting every player who attempts to purchase Premier Membership.
I reported a bunch of names to the JMod who supervises Community Helpers after seeing the number of players posting about the problem. Your name was on the list.
They checked, saw the issue and referred it for further investigation, testing and resolution.
They gave me a "well I think this might be the problem" explanation but said it needed more investigation. It isn't their field of expertise.

The first answer I posted to you above isn't relevant now.
The JMod said to me "they should be able to purchase" (direct quote).
The issue WILL be sorted.

Billing Support has been struggling to catch up with the backlog of tickets (since FSW released).
Reply times this week were edging past 4 days and towards 5 days.
Seeing we (Community Helpers) have been referring a whole bunch of players to message them about the Premier Membership purchasing problem, I expect the backlog has just extended. O_o

OK, then I'll try and wait patiently for the bug to be fixed. Thank you for the information, and I apologize for maybe seeming somewhat aggressive in my last reply, but it is kind of aggravating to know that I can not (comfortably) play my favourite game for a while after having already planned out what to do on dxpw.
If it looked like I was irritated, I was... but mainly because I didn't have a clue as to what was going on and generally speaking felt like I was kept in the dark, so to speak.

I can very well imagine the backlog such an issue might cause, though it would be nice to get a short notice about this being a problem.
I very much appreciate your help in illuminating me to what's going on and to the fact that something actually is being done to fix this, that's a weight I can take off my shoulders at least.
