Hi All,
I'm at a bit of a loss here. - I have been back and fourth with Jagex support for over a week now with no end in sight.
To make a long story short, Jagex's anti fraud system mistakenly returned a payment for a bond on my account. Now my account has been locked due to an unpaid balance. I have been in contact with Support four or five times now trying to get to the bottom of this.
When I log in to the shop section of the website, and click "Proceed to checkout" to clear the unpaid balance, the button just makes a refresh icon & leads me no where. It used to work fine as I have made a few purchases in the past.
I've cleared my browser settings, tried logging in from different devices, internet connections, etc. with no luck.
I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in the customer service I have received to say the least. This error was on Jagex's end, not mine. After initially accusing me of trying to refund a purchase with malicious intent, they lock my account and wont help me clear the balance. I have literally said CHARGE THE CARD ON FILE to clear the balance and they have refused.
I would greatly appreciate any help you guys can offer because the impression I'm getting is Jagex could care less for a client who has paid to play the game for over a decade.
