If you are located in a members area when the membership runs out, your character will be auto moved to Lumbridge at first login afterwards.
You don't get asked to move or switch worlds though you wouldnt be able to log into a members world and would only be able to log in to a F2p world.
Check the registered email for the account to see if there are any emails from Jagex.
Check the 'Messages' tab in account management to see if there are any messages in there about membership.
If you cannot see any messages, your membership status continues to say one day and you would like to raise the issue with Billing Support, go to the
Payment types
page and click on the Credit Card Issues link.
The next page will have a 'Contact Us' button you can use to navigate to a message form.
You won't lose your account over this problem.
The worst thing that would happen is your account gets 'frozen' until the issue is sorted.
A frozen account does not lose any items, gp or skill exp, it just becomes unplayable until the payment issue gets sorted.
What is your goal? Do you want your account to go back to F2p?
I just logged on and checked and I still have 1 day remaining. I checked my messages and nothing new just old membership payments. I usually buy 1 month at a time here and there and cancel the subscription right after to avoid reoccurring bills if I'm not playing much at the time.
I had bought a bond with gp knowing my days where getting low and it's been going on a almost a week stuck at 1 day remaining. It still allows me to log into members worlds. I'm going to use the bond and see if it "fixes" anything.
After using the bond it says 14 days instead of 15. I'm guessing that means problem fixed. Curious now if it's a common issue or not and people just don't tell.

I don't recall anyone posting about an issue like this in the twelve years I have been reading Payment Support thread.
The only other option might have been to not pay and wait and see how long it lasted.
Well I just wanted to report it and have it dealt with. cause in a way it's bug abuse if I didn't report it and continued to use "free membership". Not worth risking potentially losing my account over.
