Not getting Grandfather Rate

I just paid for 1 year membership and did not get grandfather rate. I don't know where else to post this and can't figure out how to create a support ticket. Please help. Am I evil? I am man. Yes I am!

I'm already a member. Will my price change?

No. Any existing subscription agreement will be honoured for as long as it remains in effect, in accordance with the agreed Terms and Conditions. This means that you get to keep your existing price if your Membership is maintained.


It does not say we will change the name of the yearly membership so you will not get the grandfathered rate. I'm not impressed with this. I will not renew my subscription again after it runs out. No further correspondence is required. Thanks again for your time.

Jagex dropped two annual membership types, 12 month regular and Gold Premier Club, when they decided to create Premier Membership.

12 month regular was able to be grandfathered if the player was eligible.
Gold Premier Club was never grandfathered. Its price jumped all over the place from one year to the next.

The Premier Membership product is new and its price this year is the launch price. I would assume that, going forward, players will be able to get the price grandfathered as membership prices rise in the future.
