i havent been on here for about 4 years but i come back and i cant log in the game and it takes me to a page where it says i owe 700$. what the heck is this about is this a hacker site has rune scape been hacked?

The Runescape website is just fine, it hasn't been hacked. It's possible you are on a phishing website but if you're 100% sure that it's the actual Runescape website, then maybe there is some sort of issue with your billing. However, since you haven't played in 4 years, I'd say that's pretty unlikely unless you were hacked during your absence and someone used your payment details to make a purchase. You can always post in the forum section "Community Led Payment Support" if you think it will help, however I doubt the $700 bill is legitimate, that just seems excessively high.

I have the same issue right now and it's been a week with no resolution from support.

I have a membership that expires in 2 days which I doubt will be reinstated since support seems like they're just going to ignore me. I got it from Twitch Prime rewards.

I hadn't played in a long time and my account got hijacked with unpaid balance I did not incur. the one day of the year I logged in...

Having to post everywhere on the forum to get this resolved, I guess.

Edit: fixed, but membership from twitch prime wasn't reinstated.
