I just got my membership today. Paid for it, got the confirmation email and my bank statement says its gone through, but it still says I'm not a member. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What kind of method did you use to pay for membership? We are unable to see your membership date under your Forums avatar, which implies that you are not a member yet and that the payment did not go through. Did you check your Message Centre by clicking on the "Account" link at the top right corner and then scrolling down to "Messages"? If the payment did go through, then you should have a message from Jagex titled "Billing: Other" or the like.
Letting us know what type of payment you used to purchase membership will definitely enable us to direct you to the correct place for further assistance and even to contact Jagex, if necessary

If you have a confirmation email from Jagex about the payment, read it through carefully.
It will tell you exactly what was purchased and the display name of the account the purchase was made for.
A confirmation email yet no confirmation message inside your Madison Jade account means you likely made the purchase for another account by mistake.
If the display name in the email is not the right name/account, you can get the membership transferred by following the instructions on the
Bought membership on the wrong account
support page.
