I've had my account for over 15 years, and paid monthly membership throughout.
Today (16th November 4:30am) I figured I'd try the Gold membership instead. Nice perks.
There's two problems I have when clicking "Buy Gold Membership" at: https://info.runescape.com/en-GB/c/premier-club
The first is this message I get:
"One or more of the items could not be added to your basket, this may be because you already own the item or it is unavailable at this time. Please get in touch if you require further assistance."
The second is - there's no link to sort out my payment issue in that message. I came to the user forums here out of desperation! (Not to disparage people here, but it looks like an internal account issue?)
I imagine the monthly payment will stop and the gold membership will start up?
Is it that I have to cancel my membership and and then sign up for gold?
I've never worked so hard for someone to "take my money".. lol
