i got the silver premier club package at the beginning of the year and it said it would not be a recurring payment. prior to this i did have the month to month recurring set up. so a week or two ago they took 59 dollars or whatever from my account as if it was a recurring payment. i was gonna let it go cuz i still play but now today i went to use my premier artifact and no longer have premier club. . so. . . what do i do about this? id like premier club i was even gonna extend it when the half way mark of the year came around but they took the money prematurely and now it seems like im gonna get screwed. . please help. thanks in advance

Ok, this explanation might be confusing.

When you sign up for Silver Premier Club, you ARE signing up for a new recurring subscription i.e. a six month recurring subscription.
However, only the first six months is the Silver Premier Club. After that it reverts to a regular six month subscription.

If you want to continue with Premier Club, you actually have to upgrade your Silver to Gold before the Silver finishes.

If you want to go back to a month by month subscription, you need to sign up for a new month by month sub before the Silver finishes so the new month by month sub cancels out the six month recurring - meaning when Silver finishes, the next sub will just be a single month sub instead of a six month sub.

The price of Silver Premier Club and the price of a regular six month sub are not the same.

What happened is your Silver ran out and the new sub has now got you on a regular six month recurring.
You cannot use the Premier Artefact because you are no longer in the Premier Club.

Jagex would not have taken your sub "prematurely".
They would have taken it three days before your Silver Premier Club finished.
If you wanted to upgrade to Gold, you needed to contact them before that last three days, within that three days or very soon after.

alright is there a way to turn it back into premier club by paying the difference?
i really felt like i remembered them explicitly saying this will not be a recurring payment and if i wanted premiere club to continue i would have to opt in again. . since you are saying it WAS a recurring six month subscription maybe the wording confused me or something idk. im not like super pissed about it or anything i just dont feel great about it and would like to have some options i guess cuz i did want premiere club. .

Because Premier Club has extras that regular subs don't get, the only way to fix this is to contact Billing Support and get them to cancel the six month sub and sign you up for Gold Premier.
This usually involves a full refund of the six month sub and then a full payment of the upgrade to Gold.

The contact point is the Refunds support page, use the 'Contact Us' button on that page.

I know 'Refunds' isn't exactly your topic but that page is the one Jagex want players to use for this particular issue.
