Trouble buying bond thru Steam

I play the game thru Steam and decided to buy bonds thru my steam wallet. I checked I have enough funds beforehand, which i do, so i get in game, click on the bond tab on the marketplace, which opens a steam overlay to the store. I add the bonds i want to buy, click on checkout and when i click on the ´continue to pay´ button....nothing. No error messages or anything, it does like a 3 second loading animation when i click it and goes back to being the same button
Im not sure what the issue is

I apologize in advance if this issue has an easy solution Im just overlooking

How do you pay for your account membership?
Are you paying through a mobile app or directly through the website?
There may be a problem if you are using a different method to pay from what you normally use.
The different methods to pay aren't all compatible with one another. If you have been using one method, it might be preventing you from using another method.
Try the troubleshooting on the Unsuccessful payment support page.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I buy membership and bundles the same way im trying to make this purchase, so opening RS3 thru Steam,then entering the marketplace tab.
In fact Ive already bought some bonds months ago this way, so not sure why it isnt working now at all..

Ok so i did some testing by seeing if other items had any trouble and no. Keys, membership and coins worked just fine, when i clicked on pay the steam confirmation page popped up just fine. However with bonds it was no dice, clicked on pay and nothing

Hmmmm... I know at the start of last year Jagex was not allowing Bonds to be sold through the Steam wallet but you said you were able to buy Bonds that way several months ago.

Have you tried contacting Steam for advice. The Unsuccessful Payment support page suggests contacting the payment provider.

Either Jagex is blocking a Bonds purchase via the Steam wallet or else your account has hit its purchase limit for Bonds purchases.
