NO, the mods did not contact me at all. I did not receive any message regarding this issue on the 15th. I have 2 messages dated the 15th Aug, one confirming a payment and one confirming a subscription cancellation.
There are 5 messages dated the 14th Aug, again, none of these messages are regarding this issue.
All the messages in my "read" folder date back to Jun. I have not deleted any, and my "unread" is empty.
I take responsibility that I have purchased the bond for the incorrect game version, and I have submitted a ticket to have the bond transferred to my osrs account. I'm curious to see how long this transfer will take.
