I accidentally purchased membership on an account I no longer use. Jagex has a channel in place to transfer membership status and I went through it twice, but the final step is to "verify that I am human" by clicking a checkbox, but instead of proceeding to the next step when I check the box... it just reloads the page. All methods of contacting Jagex require completion of this process, but I cannot get past it. Any advice is appreciated.

I tried both options you listed, but today there is a new problem. No matter what browser I use when I try to contact Jagex about membership transfer, I get a message saying "The form you are looking for doesn't appear to exist at this location." I used the same channel to access this form as I did yesterday, but cannot do so on any browser today.

I recommend you wait 24 hours then try again as I suspect the payment pages are bugged.

If you wait 24 hours and still can't get the message to send, please post back with the display name of the account that has the membership and the display name of the account that you want the membership transferred to and I will try to escalate it for you.

The form is now accessible. That was a separate issue that Jagex has resolved, but I have tried at least a dozen times over three days on multiple browsers to get my membership transferred to no avail. They use a cloudfare verification app that is stuck in a loop. Once you click to prove that you are human it just reloads the page no matter how many times I try. This verification is required for any form of communication with Jagex so I am effectively cut off from all contact with them. I appreciate your help btw. You are the only lifeline I have found. I purchased the membership on account name dminish2000 (spelled with the number 0) and I need it on dminish2ooo (spelled with the letter o)... which is how I made the mistake...

dminish2000, I have had a reply to the flag I did and have received the following reply:

Can you ask the player to try the following:
- Clear the cached files of the web browser - sometimes outdated cache can cause difficulties with the web page from operating correctly.
- Try using a different web browser
- Try using a different device/connection
- Ensure required cookies are enabled

This sounds pretty similar to the original reply I did. O_o
I guess the message here is, they won't do the membership transfer on my say so, you have to establish contact with them yourself.

I cleared my cache on my regular browser and allowed all cookies from runescape on the first day I was trying to solve this. I also tried on a brand new browser I had never opened before so the cache was not an issue there. I tried again to contact them today with no success. What really sucks is that every time I try again I have to fill out the entire form to reach the final step before getting rejected by a checkbox... sigh. I don't know what else to do. I've tried this for four days now and can't contact Jagex in any way and they don't seem interested in trying to help. I'm very disappointed as I have played this game since 2000... hence the name, but that doesn't seem to count for anything. I will try again on a different device. That's the only thing listed above that I haven't tried so far. Wish me luck.
