Long story short, I got a email (via RuneScape newsletter?) with a promotional code for a one month PC gamepass subscription... But when I tried to redeem it won't let me redeem it? that feeling you played this game for over 10+ years :O

All the discussion about this offer is happening on reddit (r/runescape).

The redditors all say that it is for new game pass accounts as it is a "free 1-month trial" for PC game pass.
If you already have a PC game pass account, it can't be redeemed.
