Howdy. So i'll get straight to the point, I'm not sure where exactly this post needs to go, but I figured I will post it here, and it would get moved to the appropriate area if need-be. Thanks in advance.
The problem: So about 10 days ago, my Computer/Client started acting up. Whenever I do something in quick repetition, like typing to my clan chat and then click another window(like browser for example) the Runescape client crashes. I have tried the following things with no success. Client freezes for about 5 seconds and then crashes.
1. At first, I tried just using Compatibility mode, this didn't work
2. I tried doing a simple reset, deleting files. No success there
3. I did a fresh install of windows, deleted everything, and still no luck
4. I uninstalled/deleted cache, reinstalled runescape via Jagex client
Some things I notice(I don't know if these are bad/good) but some specs from processes in task manager
on idle, when i'm bank standing, cpu usage 30-45 percent, sometimes dropping to 15-20. Memory is running 2200-2400mb roughly.
Disk on startup(100% disc usage and red under runescape directly, 300-600 mbps, and sometimes throttles to 900+mbps. Power usage 1 of 2 is High or Very high, moderate when the runescape window isn't open.
