Runescape launcher not loading

Hi! For a week or so the client has been crashing and logging me out unexpectedly, but yesterday I couldn't log on at all from the launcher. I've tried:

- uninstalling Jaxex launcher (and re-installing)
- uninstalling Runescape new official client (and re-installing)
- logging out of everything and rebooting Mac
- installed the most recent version of Java
- installed all latest Mac updates

At the moment I can click the play button and the client pops up but in the background and if I click on the tab it freezes and my only option is to force quit, and this just loops endlessly.

Can anyone help? Thanks!!

If you use your own version of runelite instead of theversion suggested by Jagex/JMods (through Jagex Launcher) chances are it will not launch at all.
Remove runelite you have on your computer entirely and download the right version through Jagex Launcher and it will launch.

Not sure if I'm having the same issue but I was just playing approximately 20 mins ago went to hop worlds, the loading icon had come up with a black screen then nothing happens. Now I can't load the game at all, I log in then the pre-loading inventory icon comes up but then stays a black screen.

Any help please will be great
