I get the error message
Your account has not logged out from its last session or the server is too busy to handle your request try again or choose a different server.

I have reset my password, reinstalled the launcher, flushed DNS, restarted my router

yup you have to wait until your account has fully logged out before you can log in again. I am glad you got it going again.
