Aussie world's Ping problem

I'm having some trouble with my ping, on my computer i'm wired into the internet and i'm some how getting 400+ Ping when i usually get about 7 ping. I went and tired it on my brothers computer and he's getting the 7ping. I've tired all the common stuff like flush the dsn, rest modem etc. anyone got any ideas?!!! also i have 150ping in aussies worlds when i usually have like 280-320 ping
